Legendaria Begins Anew

So that’s how it is, I’m not pleased with how I took the story this time around, I am going to be redoing the first volume, each chapter though the story will be very different 2nd chapter onwards and the art will be completely revamped and seriously improved.

So don’t think the story is on a loop, if you can survive the same first chapter you’ll see the story change soon, for now be content with the new art. The original will still be up as Volume 0 and will still be getting an initial print sometime this year.

Fanart Contest

So, you guys seemed pretty interested in a fanart contest, well I think I’ll be setting it during April, the first volume will be finished somewhere along the way :)

So here’s how it’s gonna go down. It’s a fanart contest based on Legendaria the Webcomic.

Rules:

Create a piece of fanart based on Legendaria the Webcomic, its characters or its settings.

Anything goes as far as art; drawings, paintings, models, even cosplay (if you think you have time to make a decent costume) digital or traditional.

Keep the art relatively SFW, look at what you get in the webcomic and be the judge of what is and what is not acceptable. (To clarify, no adult content. As much as I personally would appreciate that kind of fanart (possibly) it will not be considered for the contest regardless of the quality.)

The art has to be your own original work, no collages, no traces, no recolors, no templates/bases, and certainly no stealing!

Without wanting to hinder your artistic licence, please keep the work as canonical as possible as far as displayed character relations and personalities go. No shipping please, although you will be considered you will lose points for that kind of thing.

There will be a winner, two runner ups and at least 3 honourable mentions. All 6 of these pieces will be printed(with the artists permission) in the first volume of Legendaria the Webcomic. Think of it as a printed advertisement so try and do your best!

All entries will be in some form or other displayed on the website legendaria.co.uk. Winning entries will be featured prominently.

Winner, runner ups and honourable mentions featured in the book will be eligible for a free, signed copy of the book upon it’s initial print.

As a bonus, the winner will be eligible to one free request from myself.

I will be judging ultimately alone(I will be open to suggestion if people have opinions they want to put forward), whilst this may seem unfair please remember this is my webcomic and my printed book, I don’t want things that I’m not 100% on being in there.

To enter a piece, I would firstly suggest putting it in video form on youtube and adding it as a response to the contest video (TO BE ADDED), otherwise leave a comment or a note with a link to the piece on deviantArt(Links to both on the site). I will not give you any tips on how to score highly, just don’t be foolish with the content and do the best you can.
Closing date is April 30th. Results will go up May 5th.
